On 1 December 2019 New Laws To Improve Swimming pool And Spa Safety Came Into Effect In Victoria. These Introduced New Registration Inspection And Certification Requirements For Property Owners. Pools And Spas With A Depth Of 30Cm Or More (300Mm) Must Be Surrounded By A Safety Barrier Including Inflatable Pools. Owners Are Required To Register Their pool Or Spa With Their Local Council And Have The Safety Barrier Inspected Every Four Years.
